Having found myself in a dark place after a series of events related to my marriage breakdown and not seeing my kids, I reached out for help. It had got to a point where I felt everything in my life was falling apart. I had never heard of cognitive behavioural therapy but from my 1st session with Dawn I felt at ease. Dawn helped me sift through the chaos in my head and helped me deal with the feelings, anxiety and over thinking I had been struggling with. Dawn was great, she listened and understood where I was coming from. She managed to get me to open up and talk, and gave me tools on how to cope in the future. It was a fairly quick transition and I felt there was progress being made every weekly session.
It was a life changing experience for me. I'm now just over a year down the line and feel like a totally different person with my life back on track thanks to Dawn. I'll be forever grateful for her help and guidance.
